World Fertility Clinics
Data methodology
2026-09-27
Every clinic and bank comes from an official registry or regulator list (or, where none is public, from the national scientific society). Each profile links to its source.
Success rates
We only show results published by official registries (for example CDC in the United States, HFEA in the United Kingdom, NVOG in the Netherlands, Q-IVF in Sweden). Registries measure success differently — per egg collection, per embryo transferred, cumulative — so each figure shows its exact metric, year, age band and number of cycles (n). Compare clinics only within the same metric.
Laws
Each legal rule shows its status and source. Rules marked ✓ were checked against an official source (the ESHRE 2024 European survey, the law itself or the regulator).
"Who is it for"
Until a clinic confirms which patients it accepts, the "who is it for" filter uses what the law of its country allows. The same applies to the ROPA method (reciprocal IVF for female couples): any IVF clinic in a country whose law allows it is included in the search, and its profile marks it as "allowed by law, not yet confirmed by the clinic".
Filter counts
The number next to each filter option is how many clinics and banks you would get by choosing it together with the filters already selected. Options with no results are hidden, and combinations that make no sense (for example the ROPA method with a male couple) are not offered.
